Job Title: QA&QC Manager

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled QA&QC Manager to join our team in Gelsenkirchen. As a key member of our QA/ QC Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our projects.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and support to construction site management and specialist project management on quality assurance organization, implementation, and documentation.
  • Act as the central point of contact for suppliers regarding all quality assurance queries.
  • Coordinate parties involved in monitoring deliveries and services, including external inspectors, assessors, and TÜV.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor the quality assurance plan in terms of content, as well as timely implementation, in collaboration with construction site management.
  • Implement and execute ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) processes, including attending hold points in production.
  • Ensure compliance with quality processes and early checks through inspections and site visits.
  • Initiate additional quality assurance measures for specific findings/discoveries.
  • Participate in planning and conducting audits on quality topics, as well as inspections.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in the field of quality management and quality assurance.
  • Organizational skills, familiarity with Project Management Systems (PMS), and Document Management Systems (DMS).
  • Construction site experience, ideally in power plant construction or plant engineering.
  • NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) experience according to ISO 9712 in multiple methods, as well as certification as an International Welding Engineer (SFI), Welding Technician (ST), or Welding Specialist (SFM), desirable.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a high level of reliability.
  • Willingness to undertake long-term assignments locally and internationally.
