This position requires a Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee the receipt, processing, issuance, and storage of components for Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 (APS-2) Modification Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE). The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in logistics, with prior military supply experience preferred. Leadership experience is also required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Generate detailed reports from the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A)">
  • Correspond with other managers and/or the Supply Manager to provide detailed analysis">
  • Able to interact professionally with Amentum Management, Government, and VIPs">
  • Able to accurately instruct personnel on proper ordering, tracking, and supply management">
  • Responsible to ensure items are ordered, received, stored, and issued according to policy and procedures">
  • Ensure APS-2 equipment has the proper COEI and BII, with inventories performed and items maintained correctly">
  • Responsible to ensure all inventories are scheduled, performed, reported, and filed according to regulations">
  • Ensure accurate reporting of assigned COEI and BII equipment in the relevant LIS">
  • Conduct item research in GCSS-A and LIS to include frustrated items">
  • Correct errors in paperwork and/or relevant LIS data and report them promptly">
  • Conduct quality checks on COEI and BII stored on vehicles or end items">
  • Pack, inventory, document, and seal containers">
  • Know and understand policies and procedures covering TMDE and AOAP">
  • Ensure all personnel understand and follow Company, Government policies, procedures, and directives">
  • Effectively manage small teams of personnel">
  • Provide leadership ensuring COSIS teams meet equipment standards and preservation requirements">
  • Responsible to ensure surveillance of equipment and material is conducted and recorded according to Technical Manuals and Army Regulations">
  • Perform other duties as assigned">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 7 years of recent specialized experience in logistics">
  • Prior military supply experience (Army MOS: 92Y/920A or equivalent) preferred">
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required">
  • GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent">
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work under deadlines">
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills">
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook">
  • Must be able to meet base access security requirements">
  • Must have a valid driver's license">
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization">
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English">

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a typical office environment with minimal hazards, with the ability to deploy on missions on short notice if required.
