Medtronic is seeking a seasoned Principal Consultant to join our Integrated Health Solutions team in the DACH region. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving transformational change, implementing innovative growth strategies, and optimizing operations for our hospital partners.

A Day in the Life

As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with strategic hospital accounts to drive complex transformational change and implement innovative growth strategies.
• Influencing key stakeholders by developing well-articulated situation analyses, financial estimates, and business cases for change.
• Identifying, framing, and prioritizing initiatives to capture value and establishing a project roadmap to drive improvements and cost savings.
• Managing full end-to-end projects and performing day-to-day coaching and mentoring activities for the service delivery team.
• Preparing portfolio reviews of the partnership program with the steering committee to track status, progress, and measure economic value and customer satisfaction.
• Driving implementation, coaching, and developing local project or staff resources.
• Capturing learning and best practices and continuously enriching Medtronic's consulting toolbox.

Must Haves

• Master's degree in a relevant functional area.
• 4-6 years of experience as a consultant from a top-tier consulting firm or high-end healthcare consulting firm.
• Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with hospitals' C-suite/Senior Management stakeholders.
• Demonstrable program management skills: planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues, and managing risks.
• Strong people management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Native German, Excellent English (other language skills are a plus).
• Willingness to travel within DACH (up to 70%).

• Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation to strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery.
• Experience in working and communicating in an international corporate environment.
• Toolkit with generic consulting skills, especially problem-solving.
• Distinctive people management skills with a strong team development and coaching ethos.
• Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process within the healthcare system.
