We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team at Manz AG. As a leading developer of production solutions for lithium-ion batteries and electronic components, we are committed to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and evaluate international customer tenders and project specifications in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Develop machine or system concepts, taking into account customer-specific requirements and working closely with internal departments.
  • Create project specifications, including layouts and timelines.
  • Calculate and budget project costs, including development expenses, while considering potential project risks.
  • Present developed solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Hand over project documentation to the project management team.
  • Act as a point of contact for product management during the design phase.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Fine Mechanics, or a technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician, or a comparable qualification.
  • Proven experience in project development for machines and/or production systems.
  • Experience working with product platforms or building blocks, with customer-specific adaptations.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and develop solutions, as well as to evaluate cost structures.
  • Familiarity with SAP R/3 and CRM is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • High level of self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Engaged and team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, as well as occasional travel.
