Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisory Consultant to join our team at BearingPoint. As a key member of our Regulatory Advisory team, you will provide expert advice to our clients on regulatory developments in the European and international banking sector, as well as their impact on strategy, processes, and IT.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze regulatory requirements and simulate and forecast the quantitative effects of banking supervisory law changes
  • Design and optimize processes and systems
  • Provide expert advice on banking supervisory law and statistical reporting
  • Lead software implementation projects (e.g. Abacus360 Banking & Transactions and other comparable software solutions)
  • Manage your work packages and project team and maintain close contact with our clients and our consulting team

Your Profile

  • Completed studies with a business or MINT focus
  • At least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm, in the financial sector or in a FinTech company
  • Experience in the banking supervisory law environment and knowledge of national and European requirements, high IT affinity, ideally SQL knowledge
  • Passion for banking and enjoyment of pioneering work in the digital transformation of the financial sector
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to advise our clients on site
  • Excellent German and English language skills
