About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Advisory Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting, with experience in IT architecture planning, IT governance, and IT sourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical and functional advice on IT architecture planning, conception, and selection, as well as supporting clients in strategic IT system selection
  • Accompanying clients in the strategic realignment of their IT infrastructure and organization, providing advice on IT governance
  • Providing technical and functional advice on IT sourcing, IT controlling, and IT portfolio management
  • Conducting IT potential analysis, conceiving, and accompanying cost reduction programs in IT
  • Identifying and analyzing banking, technical, and regulatory requirements for the implementation of IT solutions in the financial sector
  • Creating technical and functional implementation concepts, as well as conducting IT programs and projects
  • Test management, test conception, and test execution
  • Supporting the optimization of data quality and data integrity
  • Project management, quality assurance, and change management for complex implementation projects
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field
  • High affinity for information technology, preferably with experience in programming or designing IT solutions in the financial sector
  • Professional experience in a comparable position in a financial or consulting company
  • A well-rounded profile, with either banking expertise, extensive IT experience, or active participation in projects
  • Strong analytical skills, customer orientation, communication skills, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills
