Job Title: IT Specialist (Customer Support)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (Customer Support) to join our team at the U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our Network Enterprise Center (NEC), you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Assist senior specialists with more complex technical issues and provide guidance to junior technicians.
  • Administer network security, including user IDs, permissions, and access protocols.
  • Install and configure software applications, including voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), and print services.
  • Perform vulnerability management tasks to ensure systems comply with DISA security technical implementation guides (STIG) and other security requirements.
  • Collaborate with Information Management Officers (IMOs), users, and other support personnel to ensure security regulations are followed.
Requirements:
  • English and German language proficiency level B2 required.
  • Office automation skills required.
  • Cyber Security certification(s) at the IATII level required.
  • 2-5 years of job-related experience in customer support, IT, or a related field.
