Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at format h digital GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative web projects using the Symfony framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex web applications using Symfony and PHP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality software
  • Develop and maintain microservices and applications using Kubernetes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and advancements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Backend Developer with PHP and Symfony
  • Strong understanding of Docker, Git, and MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience with build processes and deployments using GitLab-CI Pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in German (C1 level or higher)
