EMC Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled EMC Engineer to join our team at Viessmann Climate Solutions. As an EMC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our products, which are designed to provide efficient and systemic climate and renewable energy solutions.

• Conduct EMC projects from test planning to CE type testing, ensuring compliance with current standards.
• Test, analyze, and optimize the electromagnetic compatibility of our products, developing test plans and strategies.
• Test electrical and electronic components and devices according to current EMC standards in our own EMC laboratory.
• Develop measures to increase immunity to interference and reduce radio emissions of our products.
• Document test results and proof of CE conformity.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on EMC or radio frequency technology, or a qualification as a technician with relevant professional experience in this field.
• Several years of professional experience in the development of electronic assemblies.
• Good knowledge and experience in EMC testing, as well as knowledge of general measurement and radio frequency technology.
• Ideal familiarity with EMC32, Elektra, SPS Testmanager, IEC and ICD-Control, or ProveEMC, which are used in day-to-day operations.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
