Job Summary:
JD Ross Energy is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to lead our Utility BESS efforts in the EU and UK markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing utility-scale battery energy storage system offers and tenders, as well as providing technical and commercial review of complex enquiries and tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the EU and UK markets
- Manage technical proposals, including high voltage systems, balancing of the plant, inverters, transformers, and battery storage systems
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technical, and software teams, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Provide technical evaluation of client needs, technical appendix in contracts and bids, local grid code, and technical requirements for partners and suppliers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, specifically in medium or high voltage level, with a focus on medium voltage and/or high voltage substations and/or energy battery storage systems
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel
- Knowledge of control systems and maintenance of battery energy storage systems is a plus
- Fluent in English and German
