Research Scientist for Stereoscopic X-Ray Vision

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Universität Hamburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and testing a newly developed experimental in-situ environment and investigating nanomaterials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and test the experimental in-situ environment
  • Investigate nanomaterials using X-Ray microscopy
  • Develop and apply numerical algorithms for data analysis

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, and CUDA
  • Experience with scanning X-Ray microscopy methods
  • Good understanding of solid-state physics

About the Position

This is a full-time position suitable for part-time work. The successful candidate will be a connecting link between chemically and methodologically driven efforts to develop Stereoscopic X-Ray Vision to Investigate Nanoparticles.
