Job Title: Data Center Team Lead

Job Description:

As a Data Center Team Lead at Operational Services GmbH & Co. KG, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and operation of modern information systems, management of private and public cloud platforms, and ensuring the long-term 24/7 system support and availability of critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of the team with economic and business responsibility
  • Strategic and operational development of the team in terms of performance and product portfolio for high-quality consulting for the deployment of tailored applications, solutions, and services in the data center of customers and in the Microsoft Cloud
  • Responsibility for the leadership and planning of consulting for Microsoft Cloud Services
  • Analysis, consulting, calculation, and negotiation of complex IT migrations from data centers, IT infrastructures, and platforms, as well as applications for customers
  • Technology and process consulting for customers, partners, and top management on projects with a high degree of stability at minimal possible disruption of ongoing services

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of experience in leading ICT transformation projects for data centers, infrastructures, applications, and into the Microsoft Cloud as a service provider in the enterprise segment
  • Multiple years of leadership experience, both technically and disciplinarily
  • Fundamental technical and methodological knowledge for the migration of complex application landscapes onto new infrastructures or platforms
  • Extensive experience in conceiving and implementing the introduction of cloud-based Microsoft services, also for implementation in their own operation at OS
  • Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic appearance on CxO level
  • High analytical and conceptual thinking ability, as well as economic understanding
