Senior Credit Analyst

As a Senior Credit Analyst at Societe Generale, you will be responsible for managing an allocated credit exposure portfolio related to LargeCap and/or MidCap Corporate client groups domiciling in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and developing expertise related to the development of allocated industries and sectors.
- Processing credit requests submitted to Frankfurt as responsible PCRU by SG Group's global network.
- Preparing credit applications that are 'ready for decision', which have to be submitted to and decided at the respective level of delegated lending authorities.
- Updating corresponding Corporate Credit analyses regularly, including well-funded calculations of risk concentration, cash flow projections, as well as proposals of an internal Obligor Rating.
- Monitoring the existing allocated credit portfolio.
- Closely cooperating with Senior Bankers and Client Relationship Managers from Coverage and Investment Banking as well as with Business and Product Lines.
- Ensuring effective and efficient work as well as interaction with other local and international departments and Business Lines within SG Group.
- Participating in the optimization of processes, ensuring quality standards and improving efficiency.
Requirements include:
- University degree in economics, finance, or business administration, or a bank apprenticeship with advanced training.
- 5 or more years of professional experience in the area of credit analysis including Cash Flow analysis at a Corporate or Investment bank.
- Past exposure to the specific challenges related to LargeCap and MidCap Corporate clients is a plus.
- Sound knowledge in balance sheet analysis as well as in accounting rules (IFRS/IAS, US-GAAP and HGB).
- Relevant knowledge in the area of cash flow analysis, financial projections, and peer group comparison.
- Experience in the area of risk analysis as well as good knowledge of SG's internal credit approval processes.
- Good know-how in innovative commercial products of corporate financing with focus on the German-speaking investment banking market.
- Fluency in both English and German language (oral and written) is required.
