Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at GIP. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill children in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 care to pediatric patients in their homes, ensuring their medical needs are met and their families are supported.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and develop strategies to address their unique needs.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
