Embedded Software Developer Radio Protocols Specialist

Job Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer Radio Protocols to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and testing C/C++ software components in the context of radio transmission methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement software components in C/C++ for the LLC and MAC layers of radio transmission methods.
  • Collaborate with the project team to design and develop software components based on requirements specifications.
  • Implement and test software components to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain test descriptions for LLC and MAC mechanisms.
  • Implement and execute tests to validate software components.
  • Contribute to the development of requirements data in the DOORS database.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the ISO/OSI model for network protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of Logical Link Control (LLC) and Medium Access Control (MAC) mechanisms.
  • General knowledge of wireless transmission methods.
  • Knowledge of Software Communications Architecture (SCA) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficiency in Eclipse and Visual Studio Code.
  • Knowledge of IBM DOORS Requirements Management and DXL is a plus.
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management using GIT.
  • Proficiency in Python, Linux, and Microsoft Office with Visio.
