Embedded Software Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team at LivaNova PLC. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-safety microcontroller-based software responsible for sensor interfaces, actuator control, and complex clinical functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-safety microcontroller-based software.
  • Support the definition of product requirements in close collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Define the software architecture in collaboration with the SW Architect.
  • Develop the software and create the necessary design documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of the software deliverables through up-to-date static/dynamic code analysis tools.
  • Support the root-cause analysis and resolution of SW anomalies.

Requirements

  • A few years of experience in the development of embedded systems with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C++.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontroller-based embedded systems, mainly ARM processors.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, RS232.
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with debuggers and oscilloscopes.
