Molecular Biology Internship at Roche

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Biologics Core Technologies team at Roche. As a molecular biology intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-throughput molecular biology workflow, optimizing and improving protocols for DNA cloning, transformation, and plasmid preparation.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and register novel plasmids and proteins in Roche internal databases
- Automate cloning, transformation, and plasmid preparation, and improve protocols
- Evaluate workflow compatibility with other high-throughput applications
- Document results in the electronic lab journal and internal databases
Your Profile
- You are a student in biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or a cognate discipline
- You have a strong interest in molecular biology and are highly motivated
- You are an active team player with excellent communication skills
- You are fluent in English and have basic German skills
