About the Role

Basilicom GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Backend PHP/Pimcore Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating PHP solutions, primarily based on Pimcore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex PHP solutions, leveraging Pimcore and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code meets the company's coding standards and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHP, Pimcore, and related technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our solutions and processes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with PHP, Pimcore, and related technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, meeting deadlines, and exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of container-based software development and its operation, including Docker.
  • Experience with database modeling and optimization, including MySQL.
  • Knowledge of software engineering methods and tools, including Scrum, Jira/Confluence, VCS/Git/Bitbucket, Composer, Codeception/PHPUnit, PHPStan, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
