Your mission

As a Project Manager at north. io, you will work at the interface between science, research, and the private sector to advance important topics such as CO2 storage, the expansion of renewable energies, the protection of critical infrastructure, or the data management of geodata.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee geodata and geoinformatics research projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant completion.
  • Handle tasks independently and coordinate with consortium partners to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Manage project accounting and controlling, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings, both domestically and internationally, representing the project and providing updates.
  • Utilize project management tools for effective planning, documentation, and communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager, ideally within software development projects.
  • Experience in project accounting and controlling.
  • Analytical mindset, business-oriented approach to project management.
  • Agile mindset, strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Persistence and excellent abilities to handle challenges.
  • Fluent in German and English written and spoken.
