Compliance and Certification Project Manager

About the Role:
The Senior Project Consultant - Compliance & Governance will be responsible for managing complex and large-scale onboarding projects to prepare SAP solutions for new external audits and certifications. This includes working with cross-functional teams to drive onboarding projects and process/tool optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end coordination and management of onboarding projects, including project assignments, monitoring, and reporting of ongoing onboarding projects, ensuring timely de-escalation, and providing guidance to project consultants on onboarding processes and procedures.
- Partner with and collect/report key metrics provided by multiple stakeholders, assist with the development and reporting of key audit dashboards for onboarding projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on listening to stakeholder and customer needs.
- Drives and promotes continuous improvement by initiating and leading retrospectives.
- Converts proven best practices into sustainable standards.
- Coaches project managers with less experience and proactively shares knowledge, expertise, and best practices in coaching situations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT/Cloud auditing and controls (i.e., C5, SOC 1 & SOC 2, ISO Standards, NIST, etc).
- Project management experience & ability to successfully manage projects end-to-end.
- 7+ years of relevant working experience.
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Good communications skills in English language, highly developed interpersonal skills, and strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization and in a diverse team.
- Team player with strong service attitude.
- Agility, openness, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
About the Team:
The External Certifications & Audits team supports SAP's solutions to deliver attestations and certifications according to applicable legal requirements and guidelines, staying current on requirements, and collaborating with third-party auditors.
