Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Brand and Marketing Director to join our team. As the Head of Brand and Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand and marketing strategies that align with our company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Brand Strategies: Create and implement brand strategies that bring our values of safety as a universal right and lifestyle inclusivity to life. Define key messaging and ensure our brand voice is consistent across all channels.
  • Oversee Campaigns and Communications: Manage and coordinate campaigns across all channels, including PR, social media, and content marketing. Ensure timely and effective budget allocation, stakeholder engagement, and campaign execution.
  • Build and Maintain Media Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media professionals. Respond to media inquiries and ensure proactive media presence to establish our brand as a thought leader.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure timely and effective communication in critical situations, maintaining customer and partner trust.
  • Agency and Freelancer Management: Coordinate and manage external agencies and freelancers, ensuring seamless integration with our brand strategy and maintaining high-quality brand messaging.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior brand or marketing role, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in crisis situations.
  • Marketing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and PR. Ability to analyze campaign metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Design and Analytical Skills: Understanding of design principles and visual aesthetics, as well as experience with campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently, lead a team, and motivate others to achieve shared goals.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
