We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. As a key member of our staff, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the sustainable utilization of carbon resources.



Job Responsibilities


  • Develop a simulation model for methanol distillation in Aspen Plus
  • Evaluate the influence of by-products on the distillation process
  • Conceptualize a design for variable raw methanol compositions
  • Verify the simulation results in a pilot plant rectification


Requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Aspen Plus and experience with simulation modeling
  • Knowledge of Python programming language is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in German or English language
