Join Uniper's Energy Asset Supplier Strategy Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Supplier Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Energy Asset Supplier Strategy team, you will be responsible for facilitating and maintaining relationships with our strategic suppliers and acting as a key contact for strategic suppliers of services to our operational assets.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Manage performance of medium-sized and strategic suppliers, including establishing annual goals and monitoring progress
  • Support negotiation of multi-year contracts, ensuring robust and cost-efficient service delivery
  • Define supplier management strategies, evaluation criteria, and decision parameters for a multi-supplier environment
Your Profile
  • University degree or adequate professional qualification in a relevant field
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an affinity to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Profound negotiation and communication skills, with a highly developed ability to deal with conflicts in a constructive manner
  • Proven experience in contract, supplier, or relationship management, or in another position with contractual and/or commercial focus
  • Relevant experience in power plants or other major asset-driven/engineering-type companies
  • Above-average conceptual and project management competencies
  • Fluency in English and German language
