Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Manager to join our Energy Asset Supplier Strategy team in Düsseldorf. As a key contact for strategic suppliers of services to our operational assets, you will facilitate and maintain relationships, manage performance, and support negotiations of multi-year contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Manage performance of medium-sized and strategic suppliers, including goal setting, progress monitoring, and analysis of internal feedback
  • Support negotiation of multi-year contracts from a technical perspective
  • Define supplier management strategies, evaluation criteria, and decision parameters for a multi-supplier environment
Requirements
  • University degree or adequate professional qualification in a relevant field
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships
  • Profound negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to deal with conflicts constructively
  • Proven experience in contract, supplier, or relationship management, or a position with contractual and commercial focus
  • Relevant experience in power plants or other major asset-driven engineering companies
  • Above-average conceptual and project management competencies
  • Fluency in English and German language
