Lead Consultant in Financial Services - Digital Audit (m/f/d)

Collaborate with your team in the Financial Services Audit sector to evaluate annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards, particularly for banks, leasing and factoring companies, investment management firms, and various other financial institutions of different sizes and legal forms.

Your Responsibilities
If you are interested in digitalization, data analysis, and emerging technologies, and wish to understand how KPMG and our clients are navigating these areas, this role is for you. You believe that digitalization is transforming the financial sector and auditing practices. As part of your team, you will conduct digital audits for our clients and assess their digital business processes:

  • As a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in digital auditing, you will develop and design innovative digital solutions for auditing and take on the role of audit leader for the digital IT examination of financial institutions.
  • Evaluating digital future topics such as cloud computing, big data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence will be a key component of your responsibilities in our sector.
  • You will establish and expand a specialized network and enhance collaboration among audit teams.
  • Help shape the digital transformation of financial service providers and KPMG.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in digital auditing, you should possess a successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, (business) informatics, or a related field.
  • You should have at least two years of professional experience in the financial services sector, such as at a financial institution, internal audit, or another auditing firm, and be enthusiastic about the digital transformation in the financial services industry.
  • Qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), IT Auditor IDW, or a comparable international qualification are advantageous.
  • You should possess technological expertise and be eager to apply this in digital auditing.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills are required.
  • You should be a strong communicator and willing to travel.
