We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Structural Superintendent to join our team at Worldwide Recruitment Solutions.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-end plastics recycling project in Wesseling, Germany. As a Site Structural Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural aspects of the project, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural construction, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory capacity. You will be required to coordinate effectively with multiple contractors, monitor their activities, and ensure that they are adhering to site rules and regulations.

You will also be responsible for advising the Construction Manager on construction activities, monitoring contractor performance, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing structural duties on the project site, including monitoring and expediting contractor activities.
  • Advising the Construction Manager on construction activities, ensuring efficient, safe, and productive work.
  • Coordinating with contractors to ensure compliance with site rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Time served apprentice certificate from a structural background or a national certificate qualification from a similar background.
  • 10 years of relevant site structural construction experience, including 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with German structural specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Working knowledge of oral and written German and understanding of spoken English.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience.
