New Product Development Opportunity

Ohly, a leading supplier of yeast-based specialty ingredients, is seeking a highly motivated student to support its Innovation team. As part of the New Product Development Team, you will work on evaluating the sensory and physico-chemical properties of our products.

The Role & Your Tasks:

As a member of the Innovation department, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting physico-chemical analyses
  • Conducting microbiology analyses, including plate preparation and cell plating
  • Conducting sensory evaluations, including taste, texture, and smell
  • Performing rheology evaluations using a rheometer
  • Testing the product in food applications
  • Regularly reporting data, conclusions, and recommendations through meetings, presentations, and written reports

Your Profile:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's or Bachelor's program in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting is required
  • Basic knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques is preferred
  • Good experimental and analytical skills are essential
  • Good communication and reporting skills are necessary
  • You should be a team player, able to work independently
  • A good command of English, both spoken and written, is required
