Your Role
We are seeking a Security Architect to join our Security team in Düsseldorf, advising technology teams on designing and implementing security architectures and controls.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a Security Ambassador, working closely with Core, RAN, OSS, and BSS teams to ensure secure technology creation and evolution.
- Collaborate with technology teams to architect, design, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate security and compliance controls.
- Conduct security maturity assessments to evaluate existing security designs and controls, identifying weaknesses and making recommendations.
- Provide guidance to technical teams on fixing security issues, such as secure coding and user awareness.
Your Skills and Background
- 3+ years of experience as a security expert in a telco network environment.
- Solid understanding of 4G/5G mobile networks.
- Familiarity with attacks and risks related to packet core, IMS, interconnect, OpenRAN, femtocells, and SIM cards.
- Experience with network segregation (SDN/VRF/VLAN/Firewalls).
- Capability to analyze and suggest a secure design for API integrations.
- Knowledge of Linux, virtualization, containers, and security standards (3GPP, BSI).
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with edge clouds and multi-cluster cloud environments.
- Understanding of LI and CBS functions.
