About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Cognitive Modulators of Pain and Analgesia. The successful candidate will investigate cognitive modulators of pain and analgesia in health and chronic pain using functional/anatomical magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI/MRI) and pharmacological interventions.
Responsibilities
- Investigate cognitive modulators of pain and analgesia in health and chronic pain using fMRI/MRI and pharmacological interventions
- Supervise doctoral students
- Contribute to the development of experimental behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroimaging studies
Requirements
- PhD-degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related fields with documented research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in designing experimental behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroimaging studies using brain imaging methods (fMRI/MRI, PET-MR) and related software (SPM, FSL or nipype)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Matlab, R, python, etc.)
- Excellent command of oral and written English
