Job Description

We are seeking a Service Consultant to join our team at J.A. SCHLÜTER SÖHNE. As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for advising and supporting our customers in regards to service and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on service and repair options
  • Coordinate service orders with our workshop team
  • Prepare and present cost estimates and negotiate prices with customers
  • Monitor and communicate the progress of repairs and maintenance work to customers
  • Ensure a smooth workflow of vehicle repairs and service operations, including the procurement of spare parts, accessories, and tools
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to their problems
Requirements:
  • Completed training in automotive technology or a related field
  • Experience in the commercial vehicle industry, preferably with a focus on service and repair
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial vehicle specifications and requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including Saturdays
