Senior Supply Chain Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing our Europe-wide network of logistics partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners. You will also be responsible for leading the tendering process for new logistics solutions and overseeing the logistics administration system.

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will contribute to achieving our P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and develop expertise in your areas of responsibility.

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for moving projects forward, taking full ownership, and inspiring teams to drive results. You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and stay within budget. Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights are required.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage external partners independently are a must. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other European languages is an advantage. Industry knowledge and an established network within automotive logistics or the delivery space is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners.
  • Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions.
  • Oversee the logistics administration system.
  • Contribute to achieving P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in parcel logistics, automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, transportation, real estate, or network design is a plus.
