About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architect to join our team at EFW – Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and virtual private networks.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network security solutions.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT staff on security-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on network security.
  • Proficiency in security protocols, including SSL/TLS, IPsec, and VPN.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
