Application Engineer

As a Technical Marketing Application Engineer, you will be part of a global team providing technical support and comprehensive information to customers in the automotive industry. Your focus will be on automotive communication interfaces such as CAN and Ethernet, ensuring correct handling according to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, internal teams, and business partners.
- Develop and deliver product training and workshops.
- Collaborate with key customers to drive market introduction of Renesas MCU products.
- Develop a deep understanding of Renesas products and automotive standards related to communication interfaces.
- Contribute to technical RfQs in collaboration with key customers and internal teams.
- Develop and deliver demos and application notes.
- Travel to customers, business partners, and internally as required.
- Graduate degree in Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in microcontrollers and related ecosystems.
- MCU architecture and design.
- Automotive communication standards and implementation.
- Embedded software and/or hardware development.
- Ideal experience: Measurements, debugging, and analyzing potential problems in customer projects.
- Strong understanding of technical requirements and customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) and German (preferred).
- Proficient handling of standard PC tools (MS-Office).
