Hardware Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Developer to join our team at Optimus Search. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronic components and devices for the laser industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop EMC-compliant circuit board layouts using EDA tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Oversee the commissioning, testing, and approval of developed hardware components.
  • Conduct conformity tests to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and manufacturing guidelines for mass production.
  • Revise and optimize existing PCB layouts for enhanced performance.
  • Redesign and modify existing components and devices to meet evolving requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in EMC-compliant circuit board design and circuit simulation and analysis using EDA tools.
  • Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English (B1 level).
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience in microcontroller/FPGA programming, project management experience, and additional knowledge in physics or photonics.
