Overview
We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Finance Business Partner for Ground-Based Systems (f/m/d) within our esteemed department. This role can be based in either Oberkochen or Aalen.The Ground Based Systems division is tasked with overseeing comprehensive commercial project management and providing acquisition support for advanced ground and vehicle-based sensor network solutions, focusing on surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition. Responsibilities include supporting proposals, managing costs, and overseeing commercial order processes through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for project managers regarding all financial and contractual inquiries Engage in commercial project management, including the monitoring and reporting of contractual implications (penalties, warranties, liabilities, claims) Prepare financial calculations and contribute to the commercial aspects of proposals Ensure compliance with accounting standards related to HGB, IAS, IFRS15, and manage pricing and auditing matters Participate in project controlling and assist in the financial analysis of managed projects, including cost-to-cost assessments, target versus actual comparisons, and early identification of potential issues with proposed corrective actions Assist in the awarding of contracts to both internal and external entities and support export license processing Aid in periodic planning activities, including operational planning, budgeting, and statistical analysis for the business unitCandidate Profile
Degree in business administration or a related field Background in finance and commercial operations Project management experience is a plus Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and knowledgeable in SAP (SD/PS module) Familiarity with public pricing laws is advantageous Strong analytical skills with a proactive and independent work ethic Excellent communication abilities, assertiveness, and teamwork skills Fluent in German and proficient in EnglishBenefits
