We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Government Affairs MEE to join our team at SAP. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with government officials and regulatory agencies in Germany and MEE.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to engage with government officials and regulatory agencies in Germany and MEE.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Governance Affairs and CSR, anticipating and identifying policies or regulations that can impact SAP in upcoming sales and earnings.
- Build and cultivate meaningful relationships with relevant political and societal networks to drive positive outcomes for the business in the region.
- Position SAP as a thought leader and trusted advisor around strategic, issue-driven topics by leveraging internal and external initiatives for the business and our people.
- Lead a regional organization of ~30 highly qualified experts in Government Affairs.
- 15+ years' experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields, with experience working in the tech industry preferred.
- Deep understanding of the political landscape, particularly in Germany, and regulatory process.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate effectively on behalf of the company.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Attractor of talent with proven experience leading high performing teams on a global scale with exemplar leadership trust and employee engagement results.
- German language skills on native speaker level, fluency in English.
