Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at Hyundai Motorsport GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will provide strategic legal advice and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive business-minded and strategic legal advice across various aspects of our motorsport activities, including operational topics, FIA regulations, and contract management.
  • Draft and review contracts with external suppliers, customers, drivers, sponsors, and other third parties.
  • Resolve disputes and litigation matters for the HMSG organization, including international cases.
  • Identify and manage legal risks for the organization in collaboration with other legal teams within Hyundai.
  • Instruct and manage external counsel as needed.
  • Implement policies and guidelines related to data privacy and compliance, and raise awareness among employees.
  • Act as a point of contact for governance framework, guidelines, and policies.
  • Conduct and support internal investigations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a business environment or international law firm.
  • Preferably experience in motorsport and in-house legal operations dealing with FIA regulations.
  • Be a fully qualified lawyer specializing in commercial, intellectual property, corporate, and sporting law.
  • Fluent in English (writing, speaking, and reading).
  • Fluency in German is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Service attitude and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Loyalty, secrecy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.
