About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our service organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Represent our Service organization in strategic development projects and support market launches from a Service perspective.
- Identify technical problems on prototypes and pre-series turbines and process them in interdisciplinary teams.
- Prepare and document findings from market launches.
- Participate in regular expert groups and present work results.
- Develop solutions for series problems in collaboration with development engineering.
- Prepare and implement technical workshops with local service organizations.
- Provide on- and offsite support to local service organizations during market launches.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Many years of professional experience in the wind energy industry combined with extensive technical knowledge of wind turbines.
- Experience as a Master Technician, Supervisor, or Commissioner (mechanical or electrical).
- A meticulous and systematic approach to work and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language, with Spanish an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work at heights and a willingness to occasionally travel internationally.
