About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our innovative team at INNOCEAN Worldwide Europe GmbH. As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of our data operations, focusing on ETL processes, data architecture, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering and Architecture
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow across our systems
    • Architect scalable and flexible data solutions that can adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements
    • Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle
  • Advanced Analytics and Modeling
    • Develop and deploy sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from complex datasets
    • Create predictive models to forecast marketing performance, customer behavior, and business outcomes
    • Continuously refine and optimize existing models to improve accuracy and effectiveness
  • Data-Driven Strategy and Insights
    • Transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for our clients
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven optimization across marketing channels and campaigns
    • Develop and implement A/B testing frameworks to validate hypotheses and improve marketing strategies
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
    • Partner closely with internal teams (including Data Strategists, Media Planners, and Creative teams) to ensure alignment of data-driven strategies with overall project goals
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders and service providers to integrate data solutions and maximize value for our clients
    • Present complex data findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear, compelling manner
  • Innovation and Best Practices
    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI, and propose innovative applications within our projects
    • Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools for data analysis and modeling within the organization
    • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
    Requirements
    • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
    • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on ETL processes, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics
    • Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency in SQL for data manipulation
    • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
    • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Proven track record of developing and deploying data-driven solutions that have positively impacted business outcomes
    • Familiarity with media landscapes, adtech platforms, and martech solutions
    • Experience working in an advertising or marketing agency environment
    • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and ability to create compelling data stories
    • Understanding of digital marketing concepts and metrics
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices
