About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service and Development Scientist to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. As a key member of our Technical Service and Development group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing products to meet the needs of our customers in the Wire & Cable market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new products and technologies to meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Provide technical support to customers to ensure successful implementation of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging competitive threats and develop solutions to address them.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support product knowledge and customer education.
  • Travel as required to support customer needs and market development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences or Polymer technology.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Experience in cable extrusion, plastics/polymers processing, material characterization, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of the Telecom market, including Copper Wire and Fiber Optical Cable.
  • Knowledge of Power transmission and flame-retardant technologies is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel within the EMEA region up to 30-40%.
