Event Videographer Job Description

Shootday, a global photography and videography platform, is seeking a talented event videographer to join our freelance network in Cologne.

Job Overview:

As an event videographer, you will capture high-quality raw images and videos at various events, delivering compelling visual stories.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Capture high-quality RAW videos on time, with editing handled by our team.
  • Cover diverse events, from corporate functions to product launches and social gatherings.
  • Capture key moments, candid shots, and event ambiance.
  • Adapt your approach to each event's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
  • Use professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers, and high-quality microphones.
  • Guide participants and set up shots for optimal results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in different environments and event types.
  • Reliable transportation to event locations.
  • Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
  • A team player who works well with others when needed.
  • A videography degree or equivalent experience.
