About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liquidation Manager to join our liquidation & restructuring team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing entities in liquidation, leading a team for all the day-to-day management of the liquidating entities, and coordinating the whole liquidation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage entities in liquidation, mainly investment funds.
  • Lead a team for all the day-to-day management of the liquidating entities, including payment approvals, advance on liquidation, portfolio sales, AML check, cash reconciliation, termination agreements.
  • Coordinate the whole liquidation process, dealing with the accounting, tax, strategy, valuation and legal aspects.
  • Oversee the preparation of the liquidation procedures, the liquidation accounts and liquidator's reports.
  • Contribute to practice growth and development.
  • Identify new business opportunities and participate in key proposals and presentations for new businesses.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs.
  • Coach and mentor practitioners to their highest potential.

Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a similar role in an advisory firm or a financial institution.
  • Proven expertise in accounting and liquidation process.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and operate well within a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passionate about coaching junior team members to reach their maximum potential and oversee their work.
