At DemoUp Cliplister, we are a key SaaS player in Europe's retail landscape, revolutionizing over 3,000 brands and retailers with innovative solutions. As our Senior Financial Accountant/Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes in our fast-growing company. You will provide management with insightful reports to support strategic decision-making and take ownership of several critical financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation: Contribute to the ongoing automation of our financial processes, including invoice and bank statement management and support the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Financial Accounting: Supervise billing and accounting, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Controlling and Reporting: Work closely with the leadership team to perform advanced forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning.

You will also enhance financial dashboards and analysis tools to provide management with clear, real-time insights for decision-making.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years professional experience in Financial Controlling or Accounting, preferably in a SaaS startup/scaleup environment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle Netsuite or a comparable system.
  • Experience in successfully automating business processes.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Adaptable, process-oriented, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent German (C2) and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ideal location in Kiel or Berlin, but we are open to remote within Germany.
