We're revolutionizing the retail landscape with innovative solutions, and we need a skilled Senior Financial Accountant/Controller to drive our financial transformation.


Your Role and Responsibilities:

As our Senior Financial Accountant/Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes in our fast-growing company. You will provide management with insightful reports to support strategic decision-making and take ownership of several critical financial functions, including:

Automation and Financial Accounting:
  • Contribute to the ongoing automation of our financial processes, including invoice and bank statement management and support the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Supervise billing and accounting, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Controlling and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the leadership team to perform advanced forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning.
  • Enhance financial dashboards and analysis tools to provide management with clear, real-time insights for decision-making.
Requirements:

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Controlling or Accounting, preferably in a SaaS startup/scaleup environment.
  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle Netsuite, or a comparable system.
  • Experience in successfully automating business processes.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Adaptability, process orientation, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent German (C2) and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ideal location in Kiel or Berlin, but we are also open to remote throughout Germany.
