Senior Thermographer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Thermographer to join our team at TÜV SÜD. As a Senior Thermographer, you will be responsible for conducting infrared thermographic surveys to identify potential electrical and mechanical issues in various facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough site-wide assessments to identify substandard electrical systems conditions, code or standards violations, and potential anomalies posing an electrical risk or reliability.
• Utilize thermal imaging cameras, ultraprobes, and other technology to gather data and identify potential issues.
• Develop and implement effective solutions to address identified issues, including providing recommendations for repair or replacement of equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.
• Provide high-quality TÜV SÜD GRC Infrared Thermographic Survey Reports, including detailed findings, probable causes, and recommendations for resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrared thermography and/or electrical systems.
• Level I or II Certified Infrared Thermographer meeting qualifications of ASNT or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience.
• 2-year technical degree in Maintenance, Reliability, Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent experience.
• Experience in servicing major accounts.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
