Sales Associate with Cash Handling Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at REWE. As a Sales Associate with Cash Handling Experience, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, cash registers, and stockroom
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the store
