Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at ExcelRedstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and completing projects according to agreed project milestones and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope, goals, and deliverables of projects and complete them in line with project procedures.
  • Develop a full-scale project plan and other communication documents for the project.
  • Effectively communicate project progress/issues to internal line management/main contractor/client in an agreed and timely fashion.
  • Draft and submit accurate forecasts and escalate any major budget deviations to line management in an agreed timely fashion.
  • Ensure that project profitability is maximised at all times.
  • Control, mentor, and motivate the project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned tasks for the duration of the project life cycle.
  • Liaise, coordinate, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Maintain Company health and safety policy on a daily basis throughout the duration of the project.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and near misses to management.
  • Achieve and maintain defined quality standards including all records.
  • Ensure stock is managed in a cost-effective manner and sufficient stock is available at all times to ensure efficient installation. Ensure that non-conformances are being recorded and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that measuring and testing equipment required for the work area is properly identified, calibrated, adjusted, and labelled.
  • Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained in a safe condition and is regularly serviced.
  • Promote environmental awareness to project team members.
  • Conduct a post-contract review of the project in order to identify successful and unsuccessful elements of the scope and communicate the lessons learnt back to the business.
  • Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.
  • Appraisal and development of staff.
  • Take responsibility for various special projects from time to time.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and assistance in all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Responsible for the implementation of BS ISO / IEC 27001 data security management, whilst upholding the ethos of the standard, associated legislation, Company procedures, and policies.
