About the Role

Versar is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of Transient Alert Services (TAS) operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the responsibility for site safety and perform any and all duties of the Site Manager as required.
  • Provide a second set of eyes and ears for the Site Manager on all aspects of the operation.
  • Under the guidance of the Site Manager, perform various aircraft servicing operations, including Transient Alert, upload/download of cargo, and passenger services.
  • Establish PPR for shifts, generate reports as necessary, schedule employee shifts, train new employees, and maintain training records.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicator dashboards to measure operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and federal acquisition regulations.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and promote the company's public persona and brand positioning.
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values, and reputation in our markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
  • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
  • Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of government management and/or military operational experience in relevant disciplines and market sectors.
  • Experience developing, managing, and delivering technical services in an aerospace/defense, aviation, logistics, or technical services/Government Services environment.
  • A solid understanding of the TAS contract and ability to facilitate on-time aircraft departures and maintain sustained ground handling services.
  • Excellent consultative abilities and interpersonal skills with executive-level customers and channel partners.
