Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Infineon Technologies AG. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to provision, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and configuration issues on network infrastructure for LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC, Firewall.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to provision, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and configuration issues on network infrastructure for LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC, Firewall.
- Day to day operation tasks such as resolve incident tickets and change requests.
- Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning in network infrastructure.
- Document operational processes and procedures.
- Liaise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements.
- Participates in projects and new setups like site expansion projects - define and provision network design active & passive network infrastructure.
- Provide oncall support.
- Working in a team with local experts and in a global virtual team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Network equivalent experience preferred.
- 3 years of network experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Network and IT Standards, concepts & technology.
- CCNA or CCNP Certification will be an advantage.
- Must be able to read, write and speak German & English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
