Job Summary

Group-Ips is a multidisciplinary project management and engineering company that focuses on EPCM(V) for industrial projects: Engineering, procurement, construction management, validation and maintenance projects. We act as owner representation as well as engineering service provider (ranging from conceptual to basic and detailed engineering) for both new and existing facilities at all scales and throughout their entire life cycle. Our added value lies in finding cost-effective but reliable and safe solutions for the manufacturing process, utilities, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily operations and activities of the project such as project scheduling, resources allocations and project budget.
  • Maintain and oversee the complete project process; prepares status reports to top management and assures that files are on schedule to meet the target defined for the projects.
  • Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria.
  • Identify and evaluate critical path activities needed by the project, analyzes contingencies and overcomes them by finding alternative courses of action.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, ensures that the project team is working efficiently and according to project objectives, goals, specifications, deliverables and timelines.
Requirements
  • Master of Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with international engineering projects within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Experience with training and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural groups.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and project team members.
  • Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills in German and English.
  • Ability to speak French or a central European language is an advantage.
